YOUR EHCP TIMELINEWeek 12 of 20: On track

The council has a 40-page plan. Your case is three years of emails, reports and promises around it.

Aubis keeps the whole record — so nothing gets quietly forgotten.

The record

Everything in one place, on the record

Reports in your downloads folder. Letters in a drawer. The email that mattered, buried in an inbox somewhere. When you need that one thing at 10pm before a meeting — you can't find it.

Connect your email and upload your documents once. Aubis reads them into a single, dated record of your child's case: what was asked, what was promised, what was delivered — each line linked back to its source.

You're not imagining it. It's all here, with the receipts.

Red Pen

The polite email that's actually a refusal

“We feel we have sufficient information at this stage.” It sounds like an update. It can be a refusal to assess — and it engages a specific part of the law.

Aubis reads the formal position inside everyday emails and letters, and shows you what each one may mean — with the regulation it relates to.

“…we have sufficient information at this stage…”
→ May be a refusal to assess (SEND Reg 6(1)). Parents have the right to appeal.

Aubis shows you what was really said. You decide what to do.

AuBot

Ask anything about your case. Get the receipts.

You can't hold three years of correspondence in your head. Aubis can. Ask a plain question — “Did the council ever commit to a date for the EP report?” — and get a factual answer drawn from your own records, with every source attached.

You: Did they ever commit to a date for the EP report?
Aubis: Yes. On 16 January they wrote “the EP assessment will be completed by the end of February.” No report has been logged since. [Email · 16 Jan · Reg 5]

It remembers your whole case, so you don't have to.

Timeline & deadlines

See where you actually are — and when a deadline passes

Assessment? Annual review? Phase transfer? Each has statutory deadlines, counted in weeks from your request — but no one tells you what they are. Aubis maps your timeline, ties each step to the regulation behind it, and flags the moment a deadline passes.

ProcessStatutory timeframe
Decision whether to assess6 weeks from request
Decision whether to issue a plan16 weeks from request
Final EHCP issued20 weeks from request
Annual Review decision4 weeks from the meeting

When a deadline passes, you'll know — even if no one tells you.

Reports vs the plan

See what made it into the plan — and what didn't

The OT report recommends 51 hours a year. The EHCP says “access to OT as required.” Comparing 40 pages of reports to 30 pages of plan, line by line, is impossible by hand.

Aubis compares them for you — showing where recommendations were kept, softened, or left out entirely, with the page they came from.

Section F: “Access to OT support as required.”
Your OT report (p.8): “12 sessions per term, weekly, 1 hour each — 51 hours per year.”
→ The specific hours aren't in the plan.

If the reports say it and the plan doesn't — you'll see it.

Letter & Request Writer

Write the letter you've been putting off

You know what's happening with your child. You just don't know how to put it in a letter the council will act on. Aubis asks about daily life, then drafts it in your words — grounded in your case and the relevant law. You review, you send.

It never changes your facts or your position, and it never gives advice.

You talk. Aubis writes. You send.

What Aubis doesn't do

Aubis shows you where you stand. It doesn't tell you what to do.

We're not solicitors. We don't give legal advice, we don't write to the council for you, and we don't represent you at tribunal. What we do is keep the record straight and surface the facts — the deadlines, the documents, the law. You stay the decision-maker.

They grade your paperwork. We build your case.

Who it's for

Built for SEND parents — not lawyers

Whether you're requesting an assessment, stuck mid-process, or preparing for annual review or tribunal — you don't need to understand the Code of Practice. You just need the whole case in one place, and someone keeping track of it with you.

You've got enough to deal with.
